Gorgonzola Sauce Italian Columbo Cheese 4 oz. gorgonzola cheese 1/3 cup milk 3 tablespoon butter 1/4 cup heavy cream 1/3 cup parmesan cheese `
Choose a flameproof dish Put in gorgonzola, milk and butter, 2 teaspoons salt, turn heat to low. Mash with wooden spoon and stir to incorporate it altogether. Cook for 1 minute, turn off heat. Cook pasta ( before pasta is cooked turn heat under dish to low and stir in heavy cream). Add the pasta to sauce, add cheese and mix well. Thin macaroni is best - 1/2 lb. works well with the sauce. Garnish with plenty of parsley.
