I don't taste the difference but I do love meat and i have had veggie burgers. Not sure what the big deal is.

I had one of these veggie burgers last week. It tasted just like the real thing (I guess it didn't hurt to have a pot of meat glaze ). The texture was a bit off - it wasn't firm enough, somehow - but, I was quite impressed overall! I'd have one again.

To me it depends how they cook it though. I had veggie burgers that were delicious and then others that felt like I was eating concrete that was a lot of sand in it. I make my own at home and there is a certain way you have to cook them. But I don't order the veggie burgers just any ol restaurant. There is one in town that does a mean fish burger oh my gosh so good.
