1 can each of: kidney beans black beans red beans pinto beans great northern beans
smoked sausage cut up into slices and chunks use 10 oz or 20 oz depending on how much you want. We used two packages for plenty of meat to go around for fifteen to twenty people. Each received a bowl with a piece of hot crusty garlic bread. Sometimes we had two bowls each. Denise used garlic, onion, parsley sometimes worchestershire sauce and pepper. All of this was placed into a slow cooker and allowed to simmer from the beginning of the work shift that morning at 7am and simmered once bought to a hard simmer until the staff meeting at 1pm.
I will still make this in the above quantity but freeze small containers of it and use that as a fast food on nights I was just too exhausted to cook. Add in a piece of hot ciabatta bread or garlic bread with lots of butter and I had the greatest comfort food on those workdays from you know where. LOL
